It is so easy to set up a 'blog' these days and everyone is doing it..........so why not me?
I spend hours on the computer most days, so I might as well add a little bit of stuff which is of interest to me, and hopefully some of it will be of interest to others as well.
I am still recovering from 'The Epic Bash' KLMBH (Kuala Lumpur Mountain Bike Hash) which took place over 45k of very wet and muddy terrain in Hulu Renning, about an hour drive north East of KL. I was 'on the move' for just a little less than 5 hours, & managed to complete both loops despite my rear wheel brake pad being worn to the metal.
It was very enjoyable despite the conditions, and cramp only set in during the last 5k, and I managed to utilise 4,111 calories according to my trusty Polar Heart Rate Monitor.
Yesterday I should have played golf, but as it was an hour's drive south of KL, and I needed to visit Immigration to renew my MM2H visa, I gave it a miss.
The foray to Immigration was thwarted though due to the fact that 15 months worth of Bank statements showing considerably more sterling was being deposited into the local bank each month then is actually required (for qualification purposes). Proof was needed as to where that money was coming from. I do have the necessary proof, and will return again in the next few days!
